House Rules

MOST IMPORTANT HOUSE RULES


  1. NO PETS are allowed at Port Royal at any time.
  2. BARBECUING/COOKING is ONLY permitted on the beach in designated areas -- NEVER ON
    DECKS
    . If you have a portable barbecue please take it to the barbecue area or keep it in line with
    the stationary barbecues. Extinguished coals must be emptied in the metal container marked for coals.
    Do not throw coals on sand or in the dumpsters.
  3. MAXIMUM occupancy per unit: four (4) persons in the one-bedroom units, and six (6) persons in
    the one-bedroom units with loft space.
  4. NO BONFIRES allowed on beach.
  5. All owners (proprietary lease holders) are required to have a Port Royal parking sticker on their
    vehicles. Guests and subleasees are required to have a temporary car pass. All homeowners have
    designated parking spaces. Vehicles must be parked in designated parking spaces only. Guests and
    sublease holders must park in the guest area unless it is prearranged with the homeowner to use his
    designated space.
  6. An adult must accompany children under 14 years of age in the POOL AREA.
  7. Glass bottles, glass drinking glasses, and any items made of glass are not permitted in the POOL
    AREA.
  8. Children under 16 years of age are not permitted in the Hot Tub Area.
  9. Deposit all garbage in dumpsters. No articles are to be left outside of dumpster. Do not throw empty
    paint containers, motor oil or combustible materials in the dumpster.
  10. No bikes, carriages, toys, etc. should be left on walkways or in common areas, or stored on front decks.
  11. NOTHING may be hung off the front and rear deck railings.
  12. Materials may be stored on the decks in approved containers only. See the property manager.
  13. Launching of jet skis is strictly prohibited from beach area running from the boundary of West
    Building, east to the Oceanography Institute. Storage of gasoline or other flammable substances
    prohibited anywhere on Port Royal property.
  14. Respect your fellow vacationer. We ask the cooperation of everyone in observing "Quiet Time"
    between the hours of 10:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m. Please keep your television and radio volumes low, no
    loud conversations in common areas, and please, no car door slamming. Thank you!
